Scope of Vicki Fishfader’s Practice
Ms. Fishfader, is a board-certified physician assistant who has been practicing in family medicine since 2000. She holds Masters Degrees in both Physician Assistant Studies and Behavioral Medicine. She provides primary care to adolescents as well as adults of all ages. She offers preventative care as well as management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Vicki is especially interested in working with patients on disease prevention by treating problems such as high blood pressure and high cholesterol, as well as providing women’s healthcare and management of depression.
Physician Assistants are health care professionals licensed to practice medicine. They conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventative care, do minor procedures, and write prescriptions. At our two clinics, the PAs practice in conjunction with the physicians as part of a medical team.
